Satsanga, Satsangam, Satsang in Indian philosophy means the company of the “highest truth,” the company of a guru, or company with an assembly of persons who listen to, talk about, and assimilate the truth.

Arrived at the Satsanga feeling somewhat stressed and anxious and gradually these disappeared leaving one in a much better state. Even though the event was conducted via Zoom this in no way detracted from the power of the teaching.

Had a wonderful Satsanga, very stilling from carefully structured programme. Insights wisely expanded on. Very friendly and caring younger company, left at the end feeling fifteen years younger.

Work sessions were to be either
- Something you have been putting off
- something creative
- Serving someone in need.
This flower was drawn as a creative. The words come from the study in the week.
The Braithwaite family
We were a group of 5 x human beings, 3 x cats and 4 x dogs attending the Satsanga.
The cold and rainy weather assisted the cats particularly in finding and joining us. We had borrowed or brought warm blankets which the cat’s thought was for their comfort and joined us for the many seated sessions.
Our beloved and fortunate hosts Mr & Mrs Andrew and Megan Braithwaite.

Rest in the peace of the One True Self.
That, for me, was the theme of the Satsanga. All that one engaged in, from cintana, to report- back meetings, to the elective study and meetings with Mr Lambie, allowed one to ‘Rest in the peace of the One True Self’.
One saw the impediments as they arose, from Ahangkara: the source of all the strife in the life are MY desires, MY will, MY thoughts and ideas.
When these are laid to rest, simply by turning the attention away, then the TRUTH of one’s REAL NATURE was simply allowed to BE.
One could participate in the drama of life as a disinterested player, (still with great empathy for others), but responding with stillness and in stillness.
What a gift! What a blessing!
One is humbled by the desire of all our teachers to serve mankind in this way, so that we may Rest in the peace of the One Self of All.

For me it it takes a little longer than most to absorb and digest the concentrated measure. That’s how it is. That said, there were many experiences of being totally absorbed in conversations within my group but especially listening to Mr.Lambie’s lectures. Like the one he presented on the Two Birds. That absorbed me completely and will remain with me for a long time to come. I could not end there without thanking our dear Tutors who have grown immensely in their capacity to teach, serve and lead with growing knowledge. A lovely week spent with wonderful folk.

What I value so much from these Satsanga’s is the good company, and the sense of building up an inner and interconnected strength, a deep-ocean stillness beneath the everyday up-and-down waves.

Since the Satsanga I am continually aware of how everything is bright and clear and wondrous, I am looking at the same world but now it is smiling back at me. It has always been this way when I fell in love except this time it is not a reflection in another person, it is mySelf.
As you crest each summit and yet another looms before you, look back at how far you have ascended and continue inspired!

What stood out for me was the love and caring as well as honesty by all. I realized what it means to be in good company. Thank you to all. Was good to see old friends again.

Dear Geraldine. Thank you for your gentle nudges to contribute towards the Satsanga Experience. I’m only now beginning to enjoy the benefits of the week
