what a beautiful memory to live on by
(student at cape town school)
I met Mrs Stretton as a young girl. She would always offer me chocolate ice cream. My mother and I were offered a place to stay by her and that is where I would spend most of my formative years. She was truly a remarkable woman, very poised in her manner but definitely a force to be reckoned with. I’m so saddened by the news of her passing. I never got to say thank you for all the times she took care of me when I was sick or needed assistance. Sleep peacefully, Margaret. Love Zinhle
