As the pandemic continues to change our way of life, people are turning to meditation and mindfulness practices to help them cope with the stress, anxiety, and isolation that social distancing causes.
We know that whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful.
Because students of the school only have online contact with each other, we would like to reconnect you to the daily lives of your friends and fellow students with this simple 4×4 exercise. Four pictures and four words that represent some form of mindfulness in your daily lives.
Mindfulness is available to us in every moment, like taking a pause to breathe when the phone rings or paying special attention to the brightness of the colours on our morning walk.
